Actually they broke up around 1990, I think, well before he was sick. He was engaged to Julie Snider at the time he died. And oh yes, I also wish we could’ve taken his cancer away! He is so very missed.

I love the lyrics on “The Lace”. It was awesome that he had someone so personally close to him to help him make an excellent solo album
